My wonderful family
It was absolutely fantastic spending 4 full days with my family. I drove to Palmyra, NY on Friday night by myself after class and we met up at the Palmyra Inn at about midnight. They drove from DC, again with a cruel GPS. We spent all of Saturday gallivanting around the town and seeing all there was to see. We spent a solid 2 hours in the Sacred Grove and it was my happiest time I think. I loved being there and sharing that part of my life with them. I wish I had the pictures of Grandma in the off-roading wheelchair but those are on Auntie Lynne's phone. Sunday we went to Church then started the drive home, with a fun detour to Niagara Falls! I can't even say how fun/funny it was to see them all on the Maid of the Mist! And then home sweet home to Ohio. Unfortunately, I had exams to study for so I went to school in the morning to study (skipped classes but studied) and we spent the afternoons together. It was the saddest thing to say goodbye Wednesday morning but I'm glad they spent what time they had with me. I love my family.

I love the shot of your mom in the rain coat. I also love that you put your raincoats in your 72 hr kit. Steve is so proud. I CANNOT WAIT to see you in a few weeks. I only wish there was more time.
