As far as 1sts go, this 1st Married Halloween left a bit to be desired- which can be a good thing that I have lots to keep looking forward to, right? While I was at school all day (which I will never ever ever get used to since I grew up in Nevada & Halloween = Nevada Day & we always had it off & it was the best) Jamey got the candy for the Trick-or-Treaters. And then he left me for the evening for his clinic work. I put the Halloween candy in a bowl, a cute bowl that I had to dig in the bottom cupboards for bytherway since this was no ordinary candy. AND I had a grand total of 4 Trick-or-Treaters. Four. Which I guess isn't really all that bad. And it was SO FUN to see the kids and how happy and excited they were. I was so glad for them that the day warmed up & stopped raining so that they didn't have to cover their fabulous costumes with a blah winter coat. I remember when my mom wanted me to cover my Cleopatra costume with a jacket. It was a very traumatizing moment and may have been our biggest fight ever in my entire life. (For the record, I never wore the coat).
We didn't carve pumpkins this year, too busy. But being the savvy internet browser I am, I found this one on Google Images & I say it counts.
